Unboxing OnePlus 6

"We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we're curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths."
- Walt Disney

Trying new things is mostly fun (unless you are trying bizarre whacky, maniac, outlandish stuff). And it has many benefits too. You get to learn something new, expand your thinking horizon and as James Altucher says, it helps exercising your creative muscle.

When I ordered OnePlus 6 on very first day of launch, I had made up mind that I will be creating a proper unbox video of the phone. And I am really happy that I kept the promise made to myself.

Check the video and provide your feedback in the comment please!

In the box, you will find the beautiful handset. Type-C charger cabel and 5V 4A Dash Charger which takes the phone up from zero to over 50 percent in half an hour, and gives you a full charge in around an hour and a half.

OnePlus 6 comes with gorilla glass body on both front and back side. The one I have is Midnight Black variant which is not as shinier and smoother as Mirror Black but nonetheless it looks pretty attractive.

There is a nice cover under the phone and In the cover , you will find user manual, Safety card, Stickers and the SIM card ejector.

Oh and they are providing a transparent back cover in the box itself. More to it, they have already fixed the screen protector. So you don't have to rush to local mobile shop as soon as you open the box. Just start using it.

OnePlus 6 offers 6.28 inches of display, bigger than 5t as there is a notch on the top. Due to tiny, ignorable bezel the phone has high screen-to-body ratio.

It has got dual rear camera. Primary camera is 16 Mega Pixel Sony Lens with Optical Image Stabilization. Secondary camera is 20 Mega Pixel, again Sony lens. You can record high quality 4K videos up to 10 minutes. It also offers super slow motion video capturing with 240 frames per second at 1080p and 480 frames per second at 720p.

The front camera is 16 mega Pixel with beauty mode. Though beauty mode is turned off by default, you will have to turn it on to use it.

Just like iPhone X, there is a notch on top of OnePlus 6 which looks very pretty. And if you don't like it or want to disable it then you can do it from setting. Isn't it cool?

At the bottom, there is a headphone jack, microphone, type-c USB port for charging and data transfer. There is also a mono speaker.

Alert Slider

Another attractive feature is Alert slider placed on right side of the phone. It comes very handy when you want to change the phone to Ring, Vibrate or Silent mode.

All in all, it looks a great device. Given the high specifications, I am sure the performance would be at par with other high end competitors. From my past few days of experience of using the phone, I am pretty impressed by the performance of it and I would recommend it to anyone who is ready to purchase phone in this price range.

So that was my attempt for creating unboxing video. I might do it again in future for new gadget.

I liked the Slow Motion capture of OnePlus 6 very much. I tried capturing few things in slow-mo and here is my experiment video: Super Slow Motion Using OnePlus 6 (Water Balloon Burst).
